Open Question: web apps development questions?

hey guys I' a web developer, I'm trying to learn more about web apps development and softwares development and after that I will begin to learn game development... ( I use xp, you will know why i mention that later :D So I've got some question about app development, I will divide my Q into 2 sections, I need answers for the 1st one and the 2st is optional (you can skip it :D 1-What language is the best for app development? (I'm learning python, and I have python compiler, codeblocks (like visual studio c++ and I think it's better), and adobe cs4 master suite (I don't have flex nor java sdk) is my softwares enough to build web app? or do i need other softwares? Do I need java sdk, eclipse, something else? google web toolkit? they have a greate tut, but I didn't download gwt because they keep asking you to download more and more softwares...you download gwt, then eclipse then sdk the plugins...they gave me a headache ! So do I need all those stuff? If I'm using python, do I need Django? ( Don't get me wrong but I don't want to install softwares that are useless so I'm just trying to get just what I need, that's why I'm asking you guys) As an app developers, what language do you use? do you install these stuff? 2nd section ------------------------------------------------------------- Which language is best for google app? (other than fbml) and by the way where could you learn it? which language is best for other apps (like iphone apps) ? Could you develop it on xp? could you use python? what are the tools you need to develop it? (I don't care about iphones a lot, but many app developers said that the best way to make money online is to sell iphone apps, you could pay app developers to do it for you and sell it and make money) I don't wanna pay nobody :D I always do things myself :D so as i said i'm not dying to create an iphone app but it's nice to know something about the subject :) thanks so much some of you is gonna say this Q is too long, you could answer 1 or 2 questions and I will be thankful :D when I said which is the best language for google app in the 2nd section, i meant facebook app...Sorry :D...
